The module provides the following functionality:

The Set Archive workflow action is attached to a workflow state. When an Item reaches this state, the action sets a period after which this Item will be archived by modifying the Tasks section of the Item.

1.  Installation Guide

The Set Archive workflow action is distributed as a standard Sitecore package. Thus to start using it, you should install the package. Please refer to the Installing Modules and Packages article if you are not familiar with the standard Sitecore Packager tool.

The package installs the following components:

• SetArchive.dll into /bin folder of your site.
   
• SetArchive template and SetArchive master.

2.  User Manual

Create an action from the SetArchive master under the chosen workflow state.

Select the Item you’ve just created and enter the number of days after which the archiving will be performed into the AddDays field.

Take a look at the screenshot below. When some Item reaches the Done state, it will be scheduled to be archived after 90 days.

The Set Archive control modifies the Tasks section of an Item. The archiving operation can be cancelled by clearing the Archive date field of the Tasks section.
